Littlepay selected for Project Coral, a landmark DfT-funded national programme enabling contactless travel across multiple operators

Mobility payments specialist Littlepay has been selected for Project Coral, a landmark UK Department for Transport-funded programme designed to simplify contactless travel across multiple operators and transport modes.

The initiative forms part of the UK Government’s “Better Connected” strategy and aims to create a more integrated, passenger-friendly transport network through region-wide pay-as-you-go travel and automated fare capping. The programme highlights the growing demand for scalable, interoperable payment infrastructure within public transport systems.
